Bruce Yurigan Pettway is the President and CEO of Employer Benefits Consulting, LLC. As an experienced negotiator and facilitator with precise business accounting skills, he has brought successful aspects to many companies nationwide. His innate ability to forecast a business’ needs for adaptation provides a strategic vision while analyzing a company’s necessities.

Bruce is particularly adept at meticulous customer service as service is a cornerstone to his definition of a business. He seeks to provide an avenue to employers to be assured of competent, soaring quality of care and benefits.

Throughout his 20 year-employment history, Bruce has provided unprecedented ethics and performance. His peers have sought to work alongside him as his reliability and determination are second to none. Bruce was awarded The President’s Cup showing his initiative to be the number one sales representative in his region before founding his own company, Employer Benefits Consulting, LLC. In a matter of a decade, EBC has become recognized by several premier insurance companies as a prestigious brokerage and consulting firm with silver level status, providing top of the line service, client retention and new sales. This accolade among insurance carriers defines EBC in a league of the extraordinary. Recently, EBC was recognized by the Regional Chamber of Commerce as one of the top four firms in the state of Alabama with less than 10 employees.

Bruce is an active community organizer and gives immensely of his time to volunteer. He has spearheaded fundraising missions to collect substantial monetary contributions for The American Cancer Society, Creative Montessori School, and The Boy Scouts of America. Additionally, working through the Birmingham Athletic Partnership, Bruce has correlated fundraisers to impact Birmingham City Schools aiding in the retention and building of inner city band programs, ROTC and athletic departments. His work through the Tip-Off Club has also aided inner city school deficits by hosting an Alabama non-profit fundraising organization for inner city playgrounds, college scholarships for the less fortunate, sponsorship of athletic teams as well as providing defibrillators in schools. Bruce serves as a mentor to youth through Birmingham Vision, is the chairman of operations for the high school basketball final four tournaments and a trustee member of the regional chamber of commerce.

Bruce is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Business. In 2005, Bruce was awarded a certificate of completion from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth University for their honorable, Executive Education Program.
